The City of Austin's Music & Entertainment Division will be holding its biannual venue summit on August 23rd at the North Door from 1:30-3:30pm. The purpose of the summit is to maintain communication between Austin’s live music and entertainment venues and the City. These events are a forum to discuss City permitting and operating requirements, policy development, planning, and emerging issues for live music and nightlife venues in Austin.
At August’s summit, we will introduce the new night and weekend staff person and share info on Music Division initiatives and policy updates. The summit will also serve as an opportunity to share experiences and collect feedback on division services.
