  • At AMP, membership has its privileges. As an annual Community Member, you’ll receive news and early updates on the issues that shape Austin music, and more.

    Annual Dues $25-249 (Current students: $20)

    At AMP, membership has its privileges, and also its influence. AMP Pro Members are a growing and powerful cadre of artists, fans and supporters who recognize the key role that the Austin music scene plays in the regional economy and the quality of life we all enjoy. As Pro Members, you’ll receive news and updates on the issues that shape Austin music, and much more.  You can make a single payment, or spread your membership payments out over a year – it’s all up to you.

    Annual Pro Membership (Individual or Band): $250

    Benefits include:

    AMP is the only music organization in Austin that’s actually a business trade association – not a public charity – and is focused on the economic growth of our multibillion dollar music industry and of our home city, the Live Music Capital of the World.

    We understand the dual bottom line in today’s competitive economy: economic development balanced with quality of life.  With the mobility of in-demand creative people, quality of place is a significant determinant in where they choose to put down roots.    At AMP, we’re doing our part to keep Brand Austin compelling and attractive in practical, tangible ways:

    • Our policy “wins” at City Hall – loading zones, extended parking, neighborhood-friendly music permits –make big real-life differences to Austin’s small businesses, their employees, and the tax base. Over time, these combine to form a substantial column of support for Austin’s economy, jobs, salaries, and music industry.

    Platinum Sponsorships begin at $25,000 annually.   This special level of membership is reserved for companies with 20 or more employees in the greater Austin area and that are seeking maximum exposure in AMP event and marketing materials.

    Platinum level benefits can be customized to meet your business needs.  Most benefits packages at this level include:

    • Invitations to all Pro member mixers and events through the year

  • The engine behind AMP’s increasing momentum is our committed and creative volunteer base, called our Street Team.  Whether you have an hour a month or several hours a week, with AMP, you can make a very real difference in the Austin music community.

    Our volunteer opportunities include participation in booths and behind-the-scenes at Austin’s biggest live music festivals; working with artists and venues on benefit events; and staffing Pro Member mixers and private dinners with our Founders and Board Members.  We also welcome talented graphic designers, web geniuses, social media gurus, networking mavens, and awesome photographers.
